A native of Virgina Beach, Virginia, Brooke Baxter Howie began her expression with the vibrant beach scenes of her home state. Her talent flourished at Longwood College as she earned her degree in art and pursued teaching.

After teaching Brooke continued her career as a graphic artist including jobs at Wickham and Associates and Art Director at Allegheny Airlines in Washington, D.C.

However, her creativity and interest in art as decoration changed her career direction to pursue individual stylistic work for private purchase.

Eager to customize her work Brooke began incorporate special keepsakes, colors and textures into each commission. It is this personalization of each piece that has become Brooke Baxter Howie's unique trademark. Winner of numerous awards and honors, Brooke's work hang in the United States as well as Europe.

She currently resides and works in Foster City, CA
