David L. Sifry is a seasoned tech entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Technorati, a fast growing internet startup. To leave the hustle and demands of his profession, David has relied on his joy of photographing, an interest he developed some time ago when he realized that with photography he could seek out moments of perfection and capture them with his camera "by focusing on what is left out of the frame just as much as what is in it, and on manipulating the world by conscious use of exposure, lens, and position."

His exhibit includes photographs of Yosemite, which were taken during a brief vacation from his job. "It was great to get away from the hustle, the meetings, the constant demands on time and energy. Don't get me wrong, I love the act of creation -- of bringing a company, a service, a team into being...but it was great to get away and explore the other beauty: to slow down, breathe and accept what Yosemite so kindly opened up before me. In these photographs, I tried to bring out the emptiness and beauty and the fleeting moments of perfection that brought me joy. I hope they bring you joy as well."

Other photographs are from travels to London, Rome, and the American Southwest, "where I try to get at least a sliver of time to explore and find that perfect, quiet moment."
